Palatal Expansion

When the upper jaw is narrow and the teeth have no space to erupt, the lateral relation of the upper and lower teeth is disturbed. A maxillary expansion is needed to correct the arch perimeter and size. Many palatal expanders exist but the most common one is the RPE, a bonded appliance that will expand the palate in just 2 weeks. Its painless and works only in younger ages.
