Orthodontic Implants

When certain teeth movements are biomechanically difficult to achieve, skeletal anchorage makes them possible. A titanium mini screw is inserted in specific places in the bone and it’s used to pull the teeth against it. An experienced clinician needs to do this and if done properly no pain exists at all. Mini screw insertion is done under local anesthesia and in most cases, it doesn’t require any surgery or flap rise.
